As some of you are already aware, BITE is currently considering a new membership system to be commenced with Dec '09. The current duties of collecting monies, booking of courts and buying shuttles are provided by a core group of regulars who generously volunteered their valuable time.
However, the duties does prove to be onerous and we have asked for volunteers to help spread the workload but there is still a strain on manpower. As it is difficult to keep the group going with the resources available, the following membership system is proposed to commence on 5 Dec '09 (Sun) to encourge membership and helping out with the group.
Members will pay a reduced rate ($5 for guys and $4 for girls) but will be required to do duties. Non-members will be paying $8 but will not be required to do any duties. The new committee comprises the following positions and members:
Organiser - Songhua
Treasurers - Chrislyn, Coen, Wei Hsiung
Shuttles - Han Ming
Booking Coordinator - Diane
Court bookers - Valerie, Yvonne, Shiyun, Wei Jin, Bryan Lee, Eric Lee, Xinyi, Ryan, Bryan Go
As we urgently require people to help out in booking of courts, the current remaining duties available are court bookers for any person who wishes to join as a member. Hopefully, with increased membership, the load on each person will be minimal.

Lastly, we would like to take the opportunity to show our appreciation to the past organisers (those i can remember) who have kept the group going in the past with their blood and sweat and many times doing it alone without any help. Many thanks!
